The Rock Tower, formally known as St. George’s Church was acquired by House on the Rock London in a deplorable state. It was a building that had been given up on. House on the Rock embarked upon extensive renovations of the building; restoring it to glory and to its current aesthetic state.
The Rock Tower is a beautiful edifice that is a bridge between the old and the new.
Its many uses:
It is a home of worship for House on the Rock, other Churches and the entire neighbourhood.
It houses a daycare that serves the neighbourhood and a café also.
The Church youth outreaches operate from within this building.
It is a centre for training, counselling and empowerment classes.
It is a safe haven for prayer, spiritual development and rehabilitation.
The Rock Tower is also a platform from which arts and culture is promoted, particularly that of music with many concerts hosted there. Noteworthy amongst the many concerts that have held in the Rock Tower are concerts by Don Moen, Charles Jenkins and Israel Houghton.
The Rock Tower’s various halls are constantly used for events local and beyond. If you would like to find out more information about hiring The Rock Tower please visit the dedicated Rock Tower website
