DAY TWO – THURSDAY 29TH AUGUST

PRAYERS FOR AUDACIOUS(GREAT) FAITH

Romans 12:3b (NLT)- ……”Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.”

1. God would never leave us without empowering us with what we need for victory. So, let’s thank God for giving us Faith (no matter how small we may think it is)

2. To develop this faith, He would put us or allow us to go through situations that would naturally develop our faith. So, let’s thank Him for the situations He allows or puts us in needed to develop our faith.

Hebrews 11:6- “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

3. Pray that God would give us the grace to believe Him (His Word) regardless of what the circumstances may say or suggest.

4. Pray that God would open our eyes to see that He is able and stronger than our circumstances may suggest sometimes.

Judges 6:12- “When the angel of the LORD appeared to Gideon, he said, “The LORD is with you, mighty warrior”.

Proverbs 23:7- “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.”

5. To walk in great faith would require us seeing ourselves how God sees us. Let’s Pray that God would open our eyes of understanding to see ourselves the way He sees us.

Mark 9:23-24- “Jesus said to him, “If [a] you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”.

6. Let’s cry out to God, by His mercies, to clear out every hidden unbelief we may harbor within us so doing exploits would become a lifestyle.

1 Samuel 17:48 – So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, that David hurried and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. David ran towards Goliath in audacious faith. We might not have known of a David if there had not been a Goliath.

7. Pray that we would have the audacious faith to run towards our problems with confidence of victory rather than run away from them.

8. Let’s cry out to God, by His mercies, to clear out every hidden unbelief we may harbor within us so doing exploits would become a lifestyle.

Luke 5:5 – But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.”

9. Pray that wherever we have toiled with little or no results, now at the Word of the Lord we will have net breaking and boat sinking results.

Matthew 8:5-10,13 – 5 Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, 6 saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.” 7 And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” 8 The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” 10 When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! The Centurion has audacious faith and said, ‘Only speak a word’.

10. Let us pray for similar audacious faith, where all we need is a word from God to believe and run with it.

11. Let us call forth quick miracles of faith as the Centurion’s servant was healed in the same hour Jesus spoke the Word.

Thank God for answered prayer and enabling you to fulfil divine purpose.
