SPIRITUAL WARFARE FOR DIVINE REST
1 Chronicles 16:34 – Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Psalm 107:1-3- Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, his love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story—those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.
Ephesians 2:6 – and hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
1. Let’s Thanks God for victory that we already have in Christ hence the reason why we are waring from Victory and not for Victory.
2. Let’s thank Him that because we are seated with Him above all principalities and powers the devil and all his cohorts are under our feet.
2 Corinthian 10:3-6 – For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.
Romans 12:2 – And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
3. The real battlefield is our mind and the real entity we are fighting are demonic forces, voices, thoughts, suggestions, and imagination. Let’s pray that God by His Word of truth would uproot anything in our mind that doesn’t glorify Christ.
4. Let’s come against any thoughts, imaginations and suggestion that doesn’t glorify Christ concerning every area of our lives.
Phillipians 4:4-7 – Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Mark 4:39 – He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
5. Peace is a very powerful disposition to be in for us to be able to receive from Heavenly resource that’s made available to us. When we aren’t anxious and at peace our spiritual Channel to Heaven is unclogged. Let’s pray that regardless of the storms outside God would guard our mind (inside) with His peace.
6. Just like Christ let’s begin to declare the Peace of God in every area of our life.
1 John4:18 – There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
Job3:25 – For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
2 Timothy 1:7 – For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
7. Fear is one of the tools the devil uses. Anything you fear could become your reality that why the Love of God is available to cast out all fears. Let’s declare that because we have the Love of God, we are free from all fears in our life.
