SPIRITUAL WARFARE AGAINST ALL OBSTACLES OF FAITH
Jude 1:3 NIV – “Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people”.
1. Declare that we refuse to be moved by any lies of the enemy set to distract or displace us from our deep-rooted faith in God.
Luke 22:31,32 – 31 And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. 32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”
2. Satan was after Simon Peter’s faith. Jesus prayed that Simon would not lose His faith. Pray that no matter what we would not let go of our faith.
Romans 10:14-17 – ’14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!” 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.’
3. Pray that every strategy of the enemy to create separation between the preacher and the hearer will fail.
4. Pray that nothing will block your continual hearing of the Word of God.
5. Decree and declare that faith comes to you in abundance.
2 Corinthians 4:13 – And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak
6. Pray that nothing will stop us speaking words of faith – as we believe so shall we speak.
Ephesians 6:12-13 – “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
7. Declare that we put on the full armour of God: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit. Ask that our faith is strengthened to stand firm against every spiritual attack. Help us to trust in Your power and to remain steadfast in our faith, knowing that You are my protector and defender.
Psalm 91:1-2 – “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
8. Pray that our faith is rooted to believe in the Lord’s protection and to trust in His unfailing love. Ask that we are covered with His wings and that His faithfulness our shield and rampart. Declare that we stand firm in our faith, knowing that He is with us and that no harm shall come near us.
1 Peter 5:8-9 – “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.”
9. Declare that the Lord helps us to be sober and vigilant, aware of the enemy’s schemes as we resist the devil, standing firm in our faith. As a church, declare that we stand as one and firmly so in our faith is Christ Jesus as we are filled with His Spirit and empowered to live victorious lives.
Mark 11:23-24 – “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
10. Decree over every mountain of doubt, fear and unbelief and command them to be removed in Jesus’ name. Pray that with great confidence we receive divine answers to every declaration knowing that He hears and fulfils His every promise to us.
Thank God for answered prayers.
