PRAYERS FOR DISPELLING DARKNESS

John 1:5 – “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

1. Thank God for His light which shines over comes every form of darkness in your life. Thank Him for bringing you out of the darkness of this world and into the marvelous Light in Christ Jesus.

Psalm 119:105 – “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

2. Pray that God will reveal the light that you need in this season through His Word. Pray that the Word will dispel every form of darkness, and you will have a clear understanding of the Word.

2 Corinthians 10:4,5 – “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”

3. Decree and declare that every device and assignment of the enemy is causing and form of darkness in your life be dispelled. Decree that this is your time to function in the Light of God.

Jeremiah 33:3 – “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and mighty things which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.”

4. Pray that God will show you great and mighty things which have been hidden and confined from you due to darkness. Pray that your eyes of understanding will be opened so that you may fulfil the purpose and be on the path that God has created for you.

Joel 2:28 – “So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses”.

5. Pray that God will restore you from every form of darkness so much that your latter days will be far better and more fruitful thank the former.

Thank God for answered prayer and dispelling every form of darkness in your life.
