UPROOTING THE SPIRIT OF FEAR AND POSSESSING YOUR POSSESSIONS
Psalm 27:1 – “The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid.”
Isaiah 40:10 – “Fear thou not for I am with thee, be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee, yea, I will help thee, yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
1. Let us thank our God because fear does not come from Him; hence, declare that we reject every form of fear fear of failure, fear of the unknown, fear of disappointment, and we receive Christ’s perfect love that casts out fear. Pray that because we walk in power, love and a sound mind, His peace guards our hearts and minds from every anxious thought.
2. Declare that every voice of fear that tries to rise against the word of the Lord in our lives are silenced. Pray that we will not fear what man can do or what the enemy plots because our faith is in Christ our defender and deliverer – hence we are safe in His shadow and confident in His promises.
3. Pray that we will not shrink back in fear but step forward in faith because our God has made us promises, and we choose to believe. Whether it’s spiritual growth, healing, restoration, or divine opportunities, declare that everything God has assigned to us we take possession of. Pray that we receive courage to walk into our inheritance.
4. Pray for a fresh baptism of boldness, that we are bold like a lion – where we have been confused, unsure or doubting, declare that the Lord fills us with divine confidence. Pray that because we have the Spirit of the living God inside us, hence we are not alone – we match forward without hesitation.
5. Pray in thanksgiving that this is our season of recovery and restoration, we refuse to let fear keep us from claiming what is ours. Declare that we recover lost time, lost opportunities, lost peace and we possess our possessions by faith, by grace and by the hand and Spirit of Almighty God.
Thank God for answered prayers.
