DAY SEVENTEEN – WEDNESDAY 16TH APRIL

THANKSGIVING FOR DIVINE DIRECTION & PROTECTION

Isaiah 54:17 – “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.”
1. Let us bless and affectionately praise the name of the Lord for our inheritance in Christ Jesus that, no weapon forged against us will succeed due to His divine protection surrounding us. Let us thank the Lord for every evil tongue and evil declaration has been nullified. Give Him thanks for divine direction, for instructing us and teaching us the way we should go, thank Him for continually watching over us (Psalm 32:8)

2. Let us thank the Lord as He is still in the business of leading and directing his sons and daughters into abundance because His plan is to give us a good and successful future. (John 16:13), Give Him thanks because He promised that when we endeavour to call on Him, He will respond to us and go beyond our expectations. Give Him thanks because the Lord has better plans for us than we have for ourselves.

3. Let us thank God that as we dwell in His presence, we abide under His pavilion. His rod of protection and His staff of direction will continue to comfort and strengthen us. (Psalms 23:4)

Let us thank Him for deliverance because many are the hardships and perplexing circumstances confronting us, but God, the redeemer of souls, the Lord great and mighty in battle, will rescue us from every affliction. (Psalm 34:19)

4. Let us express our gratitude to God for His steadfast promise of protection over our lives, families, businesses, careers, daily journeys, decisions, divine assignments etc. (Psalm 121:7-8)

Let us praise Him for His goodness and mercy, when we go on our daily business, He is there with us, when we need clarity in times of difficulties, He is there with us, when we enter a new season, His word never fails to come through for us.

5. Praise the Lord for His eyes roam throughout the earth, revealing His strength on behalf of those who place their trust in Him, protecting us, fighting for us and directing us away from the enemy’s entrapments. (2 Chronicles 16:9). Let us appreciate our God because even though physical death is at work, scripture declares that spiritual life is actively at work in us, Hallelujah. (2 Corinthians 4:12)

6. Let us express our gratitude to God for His divine direction and protection, which are part of the great promises for 2025. We passionately thank Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who continues to bestow grace, favour, and honour upon us; He withholds no good thing from His children who walk uprightly. With full conviction, we will declare that when there is a casting down, there is surely a lifting up in our lives, our homes, health, jobs, businesses, careers, spiritual growth, and relationships, knowing that God is backing us.
