THANKSGIVING FOR GRACE AND FAITH
Lamentations 3:22 – “The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease.”
Ephesians 2:4-8 – 4 “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God”.
1. Thank God that we are saved by grace through faith and not by our own works.
2. Let us start by giving thanks to God for His grace and faithfulness towards us, everyday His grace and mercy is new, remains steadfast, nourishes and blesses us. We have been given the unearned love and favour given to man through God’s goodness.
3. Pray that every member of our household and church, House on the Rock, London Lighthouse begins to experience the full benefits of God’s grace and faithfulness in every area of our lives.
Psalms 86:15 – “But you, O Lord, are a God of compassion and mercy, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness”.
Luke 10:19 – “Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.”
4. Thank God that although we are unworthy to approach His glorious throne, His grace and faithfulness lifted us up and seated us together with Christ in heavenly places and showered us with His undeserved grace and faithfulness.
5. Bless Him because we have the grace to exercise our authority over powers, principalities, rulers of darkness, every demonic entity and spiritual wickedness.
2 Corinthians 9:8 – “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work”.
2 Corinthians 5:7 – “For we live by faith, not by sight”.
Isaiah 55:11 – “So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me void (useless, without result), Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it”.
6. Pray that the London Lighthouse will abound exceedingly in the grace, faith and love that is in Christ Jesus, and through His exceeding grace, will become all that God ordained for her.
7. Pray that we will always believe and walk by faith not by sight in our respective lives and as a church. Pray that we will always trust God to bring to pass every word He has spoken to us.
2 Corinthians 6:18 – “And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty”.
1 Corinthians 1:9 – “God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”.
8. Thank God for His divine grace and faithfulness that has brought us redemption and salvation through Jesus Christ. Thank Him for the grace that has made us sons and daughters.
Hebrews 10:39 – “But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved”.
1 Corinthians 15:57– “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
9. Let us ask the Lord to help us daily to stay strong in our faith and continue to walk in His way of grace and faithfulness, believing what God says about us and letting it guide and guard us. Let us continue to embrace the truth and not the lies and to continue to live by faith.
10. Thank God that the victory has been won through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Psalms 84:11 – “For the Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right”.
Psalms 23:6 – “Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever”.
11. Thank God that because of His favour, our experiences for the rest of the year and ahead will be a testament and testimony of God’s grace and faithfulness.
12. Decree that goodness, grace, mercy and faithfulness shall follow us all the days of our lives.
