THANKSGIVING FOR DOMINION

Gen 1:26 – Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

1. Let us start by giving thanks to God. The Bible says, “in ALL things, give thanks”. Show gratitude to God for seeing us through the first half of 2024.

2. Let us give thanks to God for the word for the month of June and the Dominion mandate he has given us on this earth.

John 11:44 – “And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”

3. Let us thank God because in our dominion state, we have clarity of vision, our productivity is not limited, and our movement isn’t restricted.

Luke 10:19 – “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

John 19:30 – “So, when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.”

Rom 8:37 – “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

4. One of the significances of the death of Christ on the Cross is restoration. Restoration brings about dominion. Let’s give thanks to God for the death of Christ on the Cross as Christ said it is Finished. Everything that we lost dominion to is finished and we are victorious, and we have dominion in finances, health, governance and even in our local area as a church.

Job 22:28 – “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.”

Phil 2:10 – 11 – “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

5. Let us thank God for the dominion authority and access we have in the Name of Jesus. We show gratitude to God because as we speak it is being established.

Deut 28:13 – “And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them.”

6. Thanking God in faith for the successful exam results for our children who have just concluded their exams. Let’s thank God for all round success for them. We stand upon the promise of God that they will be the head and not the tail.

Matt 16:18 – “And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

7. Christ said to Peter “upon this rock will I build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Let us give thanks from a place of victory because as a church we are in our domain, and we are dominating all around us.
