PRAYERS FOR THE RELEASE OF GREAT COURAGE

Joshua 1:9 – “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

1.Let us pray to the Lord for the courage to accomplish His will and solely please Him. Also, let us ask for the courage to allow the Spirit of the fear of the Lord to govern us in both public and private. Let us ask the Holy Spirit to release the courage and lead us to share our conviction among the people in our organisation, community, and family, fully persuaded that the Lord will not abandon us in His work.

Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

2. Let us pray to the Lord for the strength to follow His instructions revealed in His word, through the Holy Spirit, through teachings in the Lord’s house, and through prophetic pronouncements. Let us ask for the release of courage to follow God’s instructions because sometimes the higher or divine intelligence of Jehovah will of necessity contradict our reasonings, against our schedules, our principles, and popular opinions and the preplans of our life.

3. Let us ask the Lord for the courage to wait on Him daily concerning our life, our family, concerning our businesses, investment, career and development in order to minimise lost, minimise self-afflicted delays, minimise misunderstanding, able to discern times and seasons, able to discern the Lord’s movement in a situation or event. Let us ask the Lord for the grace to wait for clarification and not lean on our own understanding to resolve a matter, as it is better to understand the root cause of a situation through the help of the Holy Spirit.

4. Ask the Holy Spirit for daily, weekly, monthly and yearly encouragement to read, study and meditate on the word of God, as it is the most important gift given to mankind. Every gift, fame, position, money and so on are all ephemeral, but the word of the lord is eternal. Ask the Holy Spirit for encouragement to learn and follow the way of the Lord so that you can prosper and have good success in all ramifications of life. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you fully understand the ramifications of reading, studying and meditating on the word of God.

5. Let us give thanks to the Lord for the release of great courage in our assembly, that House on the Rock, London Light House, will begin to experience great courage in their lives individually and corporately. Please come before the Lord with your heart full of gratitude for the release of strength, boldness, confidence, courage, audacity, to grow, fulfil your mandate as well as the mandate of the local assembly.
