THANKSGIVING FOR DIVINE PURPOSE

Jer 64:8 – “Yet you, LORD, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.”

1. Give thanks to God for the word for the month of July: “finding and fulfilling purpose” As a potter always has a purpose for clay, so does God have a purpose for us.

Matt 7:7 – “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”

2. Let’s give thanks for the guarantee we have through the word of God in Matt 7 v 7 for this month.

Jer 1:5 – “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations”.

3. Let’s thank God that we were created for a purpose. We have a reason to be on this earth. Not even men create items for no reason. before we were even formed God knew us. You only know something that has or serves a purpose. because God knows us, therefore we have purpose.

4. Thank God that His purpose for us is destination Glory. He has predestined us ultimately for glory.

Rom 8:28 – “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose”.

5. Let us thank God that as the Potter, His Hands are constantly at work in our lives to will and to do.

6. Thank God for moulding us into His perfect sculpture and masterpiece for His purpose.

Rev 12:11 – “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

7. Thank God that His purpose for us is Victory all around.
