CASTING DOWN IMAGINATIONS AND EVERY HIGH THING

2 Corinthians 10:5 – “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”

Philippians 2:5 – “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.”
1. We have the mind of Christ already (1 Corinthians 2:16) and we are expected to always see with this mind so let’s ask God to give us the grace to always see circumstances and situation with the mind of Christ.

2. Pray that regardless the situation or circumstances God would give us the grace to always have a positive mindset about people and situations (Philippians 4:8).

3. The mind is the battle ground so let’s pray that God would give us the grace to allow the Holy Spirit to transform our mind for it to be more like Christ that we may be (Romans 12:2).

4. Declare that every thought or imagination that doesn’t glorify Christ, as a Church and Individuals, is cast down (2 Corinthians 10:5).

5. Declare that every activity of our soul is held captive to the obedience of Christ.

6. Begin to take authority over every thought and imagination that exalts itself above the Truth (Christ) and cast down every lie, doubt, and fear that tries to challenge the word of God in our mind. 

7. Begin to pull down every stronghold of pride, rebellion, or deception trying to rise against the knowledge of Christ and declare that every mental barrier that hinders us from fully walking in obedience and spiritual freedom is shattered asunder.

8. Declare that our thoughts is aligned with the will of God and governed by the mind of Christ (Philippians 2:5).
